Squash Face

Now that Ms. Thing is 6 months old we finally got to get some Veggies in her.  Ry gave us some squash her Momma made for her so that's what we tried first

Zoe has the sweetest face but she looks CrAzY when she is excited! She flails her arms, Opens her mouth wide and grunts.  Its Hysterical and adorable.  We see this when shes sees the spoon coming, sees her bottles, or the Spiderman Pez Dispenser hanging from the ceiling fan in her room (Don't ask)

SQUASH FACE

The  cutest thing is the face she makes after her first bite: Its a 'what is this' face. Than we get our excited crazy baby face.

We have now completed the '4 day rule' so if all does well, we can try a new veggie tomorrow.  I was thinking Peas.  Cause I hate them, I want her to give them a fair chance before I can cloud her judgement.

Tomorrow is also Z's 6 month Check up,  Looking forward to seeing where her 'stats' are at and seeing if her Pedi we'll gave us a opportunity to get her off her gross allergy baby formula.

Zoe's Last Stand

As adorable and wonderful as our Zoe, I do have to call her out on one thing.  She's a fighter, her opponent? Naps.

When we put her down at night, wether she's awake or asleep it pretty much without issue.  But when she gets tired during the day the claws come out.  She is normally a very happy baby, so when she starts the fussing in crying and the diapers dry, and  the belly is full.  Its a sure sign that nap time is coming and she's not going quietly.

I'll take a few moments of crying for a nap and a baby who sleeps at night, though.  Honestly, we've come so accustom to "Zoe's Last Stand" its sometimes a little funny, only sometimes.  :)
